FlyBill launches migrator to move full WHMCS data

FlyBill, a billing and client management platform for hosting businesses, has introduced a WHMCS Migrator that it says can move an entire WHMCS billing system to FlyBill without losing data. Mahmudul Hasan shared the details in a Facebook post.

According to the post, clients, orders and services, domains, invoices and payments, and support tickets are moved in stages. Every total is then checked against the original WHMCS data and verified in a report.

The post also lists security features. Passwords are stored with bcrypt, and legacy WHMCS MD5 passwords are upgraded automatically at the client’s next login. Gateway keys, registrar API keys and WHM tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and every encrypted WHMCS value is re-encrypted during migration.

Two-factor authentication that works with any authenticator app and rate-limited sign-in to block password guessing are also included, the post says. It did not mention pricing or availability.
