Whether AI will take jobs can wait—it is already eating many people’s income, Rashik Ishrak Nahian wrote on Facebook on the night of 5 November, citing St. Martin’s Island’s tourist season as an example.

He said resorts and agencies used to hire designers for rate charts, facility materials and similar work when the season began. This year that work has almost vanished, he wrote, because everyone is producing it themselves with AI.
