bKash launches Game Zone: games and tournaments without a separate app
bKash users can now play more than 100 games and join online tournaments inside the app, along with an exclusive football game, Hamza vs World.
Mobile financial service bKash has added a new feature called Game Zone to its app. Users can now play games and join online tournaments directly inside the bKash app, without downloading or installing anything else.
How it works
Tapping the Game Zone icon on the bKash home screen opens the gaming platform, with racing, action, arcade, adventure, sports, and puzzle games.
- A weekly or monthly subscription unlocks more than 100 games from various merchants.
- The subscription can be cancelled at any time from Game Zone.
- Regular tournaments let players compete for prizes at times that suit them.
Launched by football stars
The feature was launched at a hotel in Dhaka by 16 players from Bangladesh’s men’s and women’s national football teams, together with bKash Chief Product and Technology Officer Azmal Huda.
Alongside it comes an exclusive game, Hamza vs World, in which players take the field as Hamza against a team of their choice. With a coupon in the bKash app, it can be played for just Tk 1.
